My Guest of Honour speech at SwanCon was actually an interview with Zoe Wadsworth. You can listen to the full podcast of it here. Zoe asked some excellent questions and I waxed lyrical on a number of topics including Glitter Rose and my tendency to write across genres.

Below is photo of me over the SwanCon week during my evening out at Coco Black with Ju and Kendra and The McMinn’s

So much has happened in the last few weeks and I’ve had very sporadic Internet. Apologies for having been neglectful of you.

Firstly, Swancon was fantastic; wonderful committee and really pleasant co-guests and fellow con-goers. I had the best fun! To top it off, I got to spend time with two of my favourite people, Ju and Kendra.

It was actually a great reward for meeting my deadlines on Stage Fright and Shine Light. I worked the whole time I was at Swancon and for some days after, to get things done. Then I got to have a weeks holiday watching my son play at the National Basketball Championships. What a thrill. Today, I am feeling very lucky for my life!

Now I’m back, ready to do my manuscript edits and plan the events I have upcoming at the Gold Coast, Bundaberg, Cairns, and Supanova Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane!

As you can see I’ve posted the cover for Night Creatures bk 3 – it’s amazing and I am still astounded by Jaroslaw Kubicki’s talent.

Soon I’ll be doing a post on Saving Grace, the TV series which I’ve found to be extremely moving.

Krista has also done a bunch of Graphic Novel reviews which we’ll be getting to soon. So expect to hear more from me! :)
